FINE! I'm WRITING. Now, get.... off!

....

Tch.

..................

I can't believe that actually worked.

Geh. Burning this thing doesn't work. Tossing it into a stream doesn't work. Tearing it up doesn't work. And apparently just ignoring the damned thing doesn't work either. What is this thing anyway? A "storybook?" Tch. Whatever.

The manjuu found one too.

Only reason I resorted to writing in this is because the white thing finally stopped sneezing all over the place and all it had done was start writing.

For now, I guess I'm stuck with this damned book.

Still lingering along the western edges of the woods, heading south. That's where one of the bigger towns is. Something interesting better happen there, damnit or I'll make something happen. I'm sick of wandering around pointlessly. Tch. At least I'm not babysitting anymore, the kid got picked up at that guy's tower. Probably back home by now. They better keep a better eye on that kid if he's so important. Hn.

There, happy?

(( OOC: In case anyone is wondering, Kurogane, due to ignoring his book got the first taste of the "curses" the Narrator can dole out to the too-stubborn to write. XD; He picked up his book one morning to throw it away yet again and it got stuck to his hand. And wouldn't let go no matter what he did to it. XD Foxfire, I has a question - if Kuro wrote that he -wished- something and it appeared in the books, would that count or would he have to say it aloud to Mokona directly? >D ))
souhi_no_arashi: (Traveling)
Kurogane stalked ahead of his traveling companions how the hell had he ended up with those anyway?! and wondered how much further that bird was going to continue leading them through a now somewhat thinning forest.

Actually, they hadn't traveled much more than a day and a half and had already seemed to reach nearly the other side of the central forest that supposedly split this land in half. He'd been expecting it to be bigger, honestly. Perhaps the bird had taken a path that passed through a narrower section of the woods. There wasn't really any way to know without a map or some exploration and Kurogane didn't care that badly to find out either way though. At the very least, they seemed to be reaching the end of the forest with little incident. Which both relieved him and pissed him off. He didn't particularly want to look out for that kid and would have had to if they'd come across any trouble, but at the same time, he was bored out of his mind and just itching for something to happen.

His dreams the previous night had only proved that too true. Shaking his head, bits and pieces of the dreams lingering still with him, he tried to clear them out. Fighting side by side with a "Princess of Dolls?" Tch. And that girl with the wings on her feet and that grinning idiot... standing around while he was chained down... He developed a twitch just thinking about it. He'd wanted to smash in that guy's face just to make him stop grinning and looking so damned smug and happy!

Kurogane was finally pulled out of his musings about the bizarre dreams when he realized he had lost sight of the damn bird again. He lifted his eyes to an increasingly cloudy sky, not thinking much of the fact that it had been sunny only minutes before, he wasn't going to complain. He spotted the creature circling in the sky before taking off toward what appeared to be a tower or castle not far ahead, peeking over clumps of tall trees. He paused and turned back to the others, eyes falling on Taiki, "That it, kid?"

(( OOC: So! Taiki, Mokona and Sakura if she uhhh tailed them (though they have been walking for about a day and half since the river meeting, so she'd have been gone from home that long too, but please feel free to have her following them!) - we are arriving at Fay's tower after following Windam! I figure the dream event happened the previous night when they made camp. ))
souhi_no_arashi: (Sulk)
Growling Kurogane unbundled his cloak and headpiece, wringing one out and shaking the other a little drier, but it didn't do much good. He was still soaked from head to toe and pissed about it to boot.

That river spirit would regret its mischief if he could summon up a proper storm in his ire. He would flood it so completely that it would lose its banks and channel to teach it a lesson...

But given his situation, it really wasn't feasible. So instead all he'd managed was to blow a giant chunk of land out of the middle of the channel and now it was pooling in the new void before continuing on its merry way. Tch. He didn't hear or see sign of the spirit coming to laugh at them, so he figured he'd made his point at the very least. Maybe it would think twice before playing with the next crossers even after he'd been assured safe passage.

Not that he or Mokona had not crossed the narrow point of the river safely. They'd just managed to get soaked doing it due to a convenient surge in the flow of water and rocks along the bed sliding conveniently out from under foot.

Muttering unintelligibly, he tossed the still dripping cloak over a low branch and hung the head piece and his dripping wet bag (containing the lamp still thankfully, nothing had been lost in their little dip) and cask next to it and then proceeded to strip off his top to wring that out next.

(( OOC: Feel free to find them anyone who wants. And, Foxfire, feel free to have saved Mokona from the soaking too, of course. Mokona is resourceful at removing herself from harm's and mischief's way pretty often after all. XD ))
