[The video feed clicks on at an odd angle. Clearly this is an accidental broadcast. From the ground, a pair of legs stalk by and a young teenager by the looks of the build comes into view further away into the image. He has short spikey black hair and is clutching a clearly-too-large yukata around him, glaring about with angry red eyes.]

W-Where am I? HELLO?

OI! I need to get back home, my mother is waiting for me!

[Growls then starts as a scarecrow walks by him.] Wh-WHAT is going on here?!

[Grips the sword in his hands a little tighter and scoots back out of the video's feed.

(( OOC: Guess who found his first card? Kurogane's about 12 or 13 now. That's right, chibi!Kuro tiemz! ))

[Kurogane whirls in place, sword held defensively in front of him, but when he sees another boy around his age, maybe a bit older, he relaxes slightly.]

... How do you know my name?

...cause we spar together?

Spar...? [Eyes the boy suspiciously.]

I... don't remember you. [Lowers the sword the rest of the way.] Were you brought to this place from Nihon too then? Did you see who they were?

[He nods]

Yeah, I was. Well, no, specifically I was brought here from Greece. Not Nihon. Um, no one actually brought you here. It's a dream world. You musta fallen asleep somewhere and were brought here!

...though you were older before.

Ga-ri-su?

A dream world...? What do you mean I just fell asleep and was brought here?!

And how could I have been older before? You aren't making a lot of sense. [Brows draw up together in confused frustration.]

[He nodded]

Well, that's how a lot of people are brought here, I think. We don't know for sure.

[He shrugs]

I dunno, but I met you awhile ago and you were thiiiis tall [On his tip toes with his arms up] and you had an awesome sword!

[Eyes widen.] T-That may have been my father! Did he have a long ponytail and a tattoo on his forearm too? [Points to the back of his left forearm for emphasis. And then realizes that it was a little strange that if his father was brought there too that he had Ginryuu...]

Was it this sword? [Lifts the silver-dragon hilted blade to show Zack again.]

[He shook his head]

Nope, same hairstyle as you guy now and no tattoo that I know of.

Hm? That's your sword. Um... Ginryuu was the name, I think?

[Starts. He even knew the name of the blade? But that had to have been his father he'd seen before then... Right?]

M-mm. This is Ginryuu. It's my family's treasured heirloom. [Clutches it tighter.]

What do you mean this is a dream world? [Even in his weirdest dreams, the dream didn't tell him he was dreaming after all.]

I honestly don't know. I've only been here a couple months myself and this place doesn't act all that much like a dream, just... really strange.

[He shakes his head, scratching it lightly.]

How 'bout we just start over? I'm Zack!

... Kurogane.

So, you were... brought here months ago? And you haven't found a way home or way to escape?

Nope, not a thing. There're people here that have been here longer than me and they never found a way either.

But... I can't stay here. My mother will worry. [Frowns.]

Zack, I'm going to find a way to get you and me and, uh, that girl home. [There is a very fiercely determined look in his eyes.]

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I don't think you'll find a way outta here, buddy.

[He doesn't like sounding defeated but this is the one thing he's pretty sure on.]

[Frowns] I'm going to. I can't just resign myself to this. I have people I have to protect and all of Suwa to help look after while my father fights.

You can either come with me and help or not.

Either way... I'll come find you and that girl when I've found something.
